I don’t think so. On a phone you just need to have your thumbs familiarised with the placement of the letters. Then there’s very little space to cover to type. For those who didn’t learn to touch type – using the right finger for the right letter for maximum speed – I imagine that actually takes longer due to buttons being further apart and needing all five fingers to be familiar with their respective parts of the keyboard.
